Beef and Broccoli Recipe


This is a great Chinese recipe to make for the family.


Ingredients:

3/4 lb. Sirloin Beef Tips, sliced against the grain 1/8 inch thick

1 1/2 Tbsp. Cornstarch

1/4 tsp. Salt

1/4 tsp. Black Pepper

3 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil

3 Garlic Cloves, chopped

10 oz. frozen Broccoli Florets, thawed

3 Tbsp. Soy Sauce

1/3 Cup Water


Directions:

In a bowl, toss the beef, cornstarch, salt, and pepper until the meat is coated.


Heat 2 Tbsp. of oil in the wok, on high heat and add the beef to stir-fry, until it’s cooked through.  Transfer the beef into a bowl.


Add the last Tbsp. of oil to the wok and add the garlic and broccoli and stir-fry until the broccoli is tender, about 2 minutes.


Add the water and soy sauce and bring it to a boil, add the meat back in until the sauce is thickened, about 2 minutes.


Serve over rice.
